2011 Site Notes and Updates |

Pigskin Prep
is currently in the process of getting a complete make over. For the
past year now the site has been getting rebuilt and database driven.
In the past all 500+ pages had to be built for the preseason package and
then each week for 18 weeks until the final package was completed.
Forty plus hours a week on top of my current job made for a long football
season. My first goal was to one day get to be the provider for the
Texas Football Magazine which I am now in my second year of doing so.
My next goal was to provide a site with the same data I provide now each
and every week, but in a way I don't have to build so many weekly pages
over and over again. My site had finally grown so much in the data I
provide I was never going to be able to grow in new ways of publishing
data, stories, and other things if I continued on the same path I have
been on for years. We are almost finished rebuilding the 2010 season
so all the testing on all pages can be correct. Once done we will
then be ready for the 2011 season. As we plan on the 2011 season
being 100% ready and tested, I'm not comfortable charging for any kind of
service unless the system is ready and right. As of right now the
2011 season will be a free service to all viewers to give you all a look
at the product I have been providing for years but at a faster more
accurate rate for you. If the site is ready before the season
starts then the site will continues as a premium service and the weekly
newsletters also, but at this time it will remain a free service.
Look for the preseason ratings to be out in the next month as we get
further alone on the new site.
